1971 Chevy Pickup

Owner: The Watsons
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Pickup
Year: 1971
Here's What Zach Told Us: This is the coolest pro street car I have ever seen. My dad recently traded it for his services to a man who built it himself after he bought it from a junk yard. It has a Chevy 383 stroker engine with a turbo 350 transmission. It puts out a little over 400 hp. This truck has so many modifications that I don't even know where to start. Some of them include: custom grill, pro street hood with scoop, suicide doors, shaved handles, automatic door releases, power steering, custom wheels with Mickey Thompson tires, 40 gallon fuel cell in the bed, Tonneau cover for bed. The tail lamps have been removed and molded in customly to below body level. The bed has been modified to fit pro street tires, billet rear view mirrors, vdo gauges, B & M raquet shift linkage, custom pedals for gas and breaks, custom interior, etc. As you can see, I am not sure if it should even be called a 1971 Chevy pickup anymore. It is modified to the point where other 71 chevys look like different vehicles (of course, ours makes them look bad...). This truck has been showed many times and last year won first in the Texas Autorama under its division (before I owned it). My father and I have many plans for the truck in the near future and we hope to get it back in the shows by September.
