This is called being in the
right place at the right time. While discussing cars with
our Cub Scout's den mother, she said her dad was going
to sell his car. Turns out he bought it new in April 1965,
still had the original registration, bill of sale, and
leather covered key box with Mustang emblem, that the
dealer gave him! The car developed engine trouble in 1977,
and it sat under his carport, with a cover over it, since
then! Still had the 1977 license plate on it, and a box
of motor parts in the trunk! The odometer reads under
10,000, and he says that's correct, it hasn't been around.
It is sunshine yellow with palomino interior, 289, automatic,
with factory air.
The front fender & splash pan were damaged when he
hit the support pole on his carport. The only rust is
the battery tray. The price?? $1000!
