Bob's 1970 Chevelle SS Parts

Owner: "Hot Rod Bob" Currier Make: Chevrolet Model: Chevelle Year: 1970 Details: On this page I will show you most of the original SS parts that I've obtained and collected for awhile to complete the cloning process on my car. My wife and I drove down to San Diego to pick up the SS dash, 12 bolt rearend, SS 396 rims, and black visors with passenger side mirror. Thankyou Mike and Magaret for all your help with these parts. Since we were in the area we swung over to Sloan's and bought a rear sway bar, shims, and boxed control arms. Thank you as well Sloans, with the parts and advice on directions. We obtained the transmission one day from our heighbor who was not going to use it. Talk about being at the right place at the right time. Anyway as you can see some of these parts needed some serious cleaning. So my kids and I spent a few weekends cleaning the parts, except the dash. The next page shows the parts all cleaned and painted up, awaiting installation. Since the last time we had updated this section the dash has been semi restored. Everything except the guages were restored have yet to get them recalibrated. I figure if they work then I'll leave em alone but if one or two of them does not work I will eventually pull the cluster and get them fixed.
