Bob's 1970 Chevelle SS Clone

Owner: "Hot Rod Bob" Currier Make: Chevrolet Model: Chevelle Year: 1970 Details: For those folks who have been loyal to our site and forum we want to let you know a major update is in store. This update will include new galleries of submitted classics, new galleries of my ongoing 70 4 speed conversion and big block install, and new information for the forum. We have finally moved to the Anchorage, AK area and are now settled in so we can spend some time updating the site. We no longer own the 71 chevelle and we are sad to say that the car is no longer a driver and may never see the road again. We are a few months away from being able to drive the car. A few of the parts that we need to get to complete the car is a tilt wheel steering column, aluminum radiator w/twin electric fans, drivshaft, z-bar, pulleys, and power steering. We just obtained the correct Muncie shifter and 4 speed console for the project. The motor and transmission have been installed along with the blowproof bellhousing. Many thanks to Mitch at Marysville Transmission who worked on getting the car to the stage that it's in now, for I was not able to at that time. Plans for next year include all new interior and possibly a new paint job. The colors of black and red stripes will remain the same, for they set the theme for this site and the whole car. Our designer will be adding a gallery for the overhaul that was completed for the engine bay. A gallery will be added showing the new engine and the underside of this beauty. Thank you to all who have visited this site and to those who continue to visit the site. We couldn't do it without your support or interest. We have been discussing some new ideas around here at hotrodbob.com. One of the ideas that is being tossed around is a gallery featuring the hotrod of the month and if we will be awarding the owner/s with a trinket from all of us at hotrodbob.com.
